PETER CARR

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that FTC member Peter Carr passed away today, 2nd March 2010 after being diagnosed with cancer only a very, very short time ago.  Peter was just 44 yrs old and leaves behind his wife Irene and 2 beautiful young children. Peter was a founding member of Fusion Triathlon Club and his political and media skills were instrumental to the rapid growth of the club.  He was the first to admit that he "didn't do that swimming thing" but was a capable runner who dabbled with some duathlons.  He was always entertaining company and most of you probably knew him more from social occassions than sporting events.  Please keep him and his family in your thoughts.

SUPPORT FROM SPORTIQUE. 

The club have a large quantity of product recently supplied from sportique - this is high end body care product to aid training - warm up, cool down balms and century riding cream to keep you in the saddle longer and more comfortably.  This support is worth hundred's of pounds and is exclusive in this country. I've distributed some and more will be available for collection at the training launch night 30th September. I'll get some out to lanark also.
